Comments	Crossfade is a heavy, tough sounding rock band which, as if you haven't guessed, has a big-time Incubus sound, specifically at the beginning of "Starless". I was really into what I was hearing, but needed to keep reminding myself of their unoriginality. Granted, there isn't any band these days that isn't somehow influenced by one band or another. And the truth is, I like this enough that it's becoming a fast favorite and I'll probably wind up adding it to my own personal collection. (Despite the occasional screaming which lends a Disturbed sensibility to the thing). Crossfade seems to have taken a tip from all the current modern rock bands and woven them into their own sound, making them radio ready. I’d expect them to start popping up all over the place until, of course, the next modern rock band that sounds just like them comes along to knock them off the charts. What they do have going for them is the ability to ensnare someone like me, that is wholly against the "cookie cutter sounds" following the trend. This means that they most likely won't be around ten years from now (sure, now they'll go and do it just to prove me wrong), but who says we can't enjoy it while they're here? Cuz I really do like this thing, despite my best efforts not to.
