| Comments | The main vocalist on the record, Lydia, has an amazingly strong voice and lends a somewhat smooth and jazzy element to the music. There are quite a bit of electronics utilized on this album, and it is mostly done effectively, never really taking away from the songs. One qualm I did have was that almost every other song was a sort of "interlude," most a minute or two long. I think this takes away from the record a bit and definitely effects the flow. There was also a huge clash of genres, with a few songs sounding like hip hop, some like techno, and for kicks, there is a Latin song in the mix. This just confused me, although I felt that this was a good album. | |
