| Comments | "How Earlimart saved my life", by Siren Kimmie: While wrestling with the engineering (that's what our favorite audiophile and technical instructor Marsh is calling it, so we'll go with that) of the first episode of our radio show and throwing office furniture across the room because of computer problems that don't seem to want to go away, regardless of purchasing new hardware, I was contemplating suicide. Not that I really wanted to die, I just wanted my suffering to end. And quick! But it's really hard to stay focused on a full-out rant, which may or may not include self-inflicted bodily injury (punching a hard wood table solves nothing, folks), when the soothing strains of Earlimart are emanating from your speakers. Especially with hopeful lyrics like that of "Hold on Slow Down" (see above) slowly whispering a calming effect across the body similar to that of a hot bubble bath with chamomile salts. This same effect can be found throughout the entire CD. Yes, that's right. This CD is like a bath...or maybe a good muscle relaxer...speaking of which... | |
