Comments"There is nothing to be afraid of." Um, yeah, really, there is. T.A.S.C. so judiciously try to allay our worst fears with this quote that's repeated at the beginning of their self-titled 12-track debut album (and also printed at the end of the band's one-sheet). But, instead, their disclaimer goes unheeded, as the duo's record is overflowing with gratuitous industrial/nu-metal that would make Rammstein, Orgy, Rob Zombie (see "L.A. Death Squad"), and the like proud. There are a couple anomalies present here, namely the eerily placid and tranquil "ballad" "Isolation" and the light, rather gentle "Purge", two compositions that showcase the guys' softer sides, if you will. Still, however, the majority of this album consists of bludgeoning, groove-laden fare like "Misery Train" and "In the Face of God". If you dig this style, cool. Have a ball. If not, stay away.
