| Location | San Francisco | |
| Initial Impression | Their first CD was called Put Out or Get Out? Cool. I miss SF. | |
| Notable Lyric | "I'm such a mess but I hide it well/ Always have and always will/ I'm never alone voices in my head/ I like these friends and they like me" from "Don't Wanna Sleep." | |
| Factoid | Fat Mike of NOFX produced their first full length album, Put Out or Get Out. | |
| Serve With | The Donnas, the Go-Gos, and Molly Ringwald movies from the 80s (so you can do that cute library-stairway dance from The Breakfast Club-- you know which one I'm talking about). | |
| Comments | "Panty Raid" is an awesome CD. Their songs have a loud, infectious beat with honest lyrics. I couldn't find the songs that were supposed to be about car-jacking and lesbian films but I did hear a lot of heartbreak and the horrible, inevitable ebb of depression. Songs like "Next Big Joyride", "Collide", and "The Other Day" really hit home. But I have to wonder though, who is Mikey L? | |
