	Initial Impression	The inside of the CD booklet says "I need a second dose of childhood". I completely concur.
Notable Lyric	"I love my evil genius. Nothing can come between us. I'm in love with a genius," from the closing track "Genius."
Factoid	Two of members worked as hot dog vendors while struggling to make it musically.

Comments	After having just listened to Evanescence, throwing The Exies into my player is an abrupt change. I procured this CD after hearing "My Goddess", but tentatively worried that I would be subjected to the same inane idiocy as the rest of the THE bands. What I got instead was a sometimes moody modern-alt band with contemporary sensibilities. Never boring, The Exies carry the listener on the wave of their emotive but never melodramatic lyrics. What comes to mind is the heyday of college radio rock, even a bit of Radiohead, but not as artsy or inaccessible.
