	Initial Impression	Cratering under a lingering ear infection, I was heading to my doctor's office to whine for meds when this arrived. Suddenly I had a soundtrack for my day's errands!
Notable Lyric	"I am extraordinary, I am just your ordinary average sane psycho super goddess" - from Liz Phair's "Extradordinary". ('Cause dammit, that's me most days!)
Factoid	This soundtrack contains the first Duran Duran song by the original line-up in 10 years! And rightfully, the liner notes refer to them as the "original metrosexuals."
Serve With	My retro '50s office decor, Kimmie's Prada purse, and Kyan's straight identical twin.
Comments	With the exception of Liz Phair's "Extraordinary", this CD is expectedly full of feel-good club songs. I'm not a huge fan of the genre generally, but Billy Squier's "Everybody Wants You" riff? Superb. And who doesn't strut just a little more when they hear OK Go's "You’re so Damn Hot"? If you're a fan of QE (who else would purchase this CD?), the behind the scenes footage is delightful, but my favorite is the video for Kyle Minogue's "Slow". Not just because it’s full of oiled and nearly naked bodies, but because in the midst of all the writhing, Ms. Minogue is wearing more clothing than anyone else. Kudos for sexy without sleaze and for showing the world that 30-something women are light years ahead of barely-legal nymphets.
