A Quickie with Lynam's David
Cristy: What's your definition of happiness?
- David: Um, sleeping in... It's a combination of everything we get to do, the
perks of it. And being able to do what you love and make a nice living at
it. At times maybe not so nice but - making a nice living at what you love
and being able to sleep in. Now granted we had to set our alarms to be here
at five and that's pathetic - There's a lot to be said for doing what you
love and making a living at it. Cuz 90% of the people I graduated high school
with are not doing what they love and stuck behind a desk all day.
Cristy: What's your guilty pleasure?
David: Adult movies.
Cristy: Adult movies. I was gonna say "Can you say cuz your Mom and Dad are there?"
It's your Mom and Dad right?
David: My mother and grandfather. She's really proud of what she's raised right
at this moment.
Cristy: (laughs) She's going "I can't believe he's doing this interview...."
David: The head's shaking, it's about to roll off her neck. (laughs)
Cristy: Who would play you in the movie version of your life?
David: Samuel L. Jackson. He's got a tan about as dark as mine.
Cristy: Tell me about your first kiss.
David: You mean Christy Churchwell in Seventh grade? Is that what you're talking
about?
Cristy: You tell me!
David: Gosh yes, it was nice. I loved it. I don't know what everybody was talking
about - I guess thats cuz they were kissing their parents and stuff. I thoroughly
enjoyed my first kiss. When you're that age, it's like sex. When you kiss
somebody, you walk away going "Wooo - give me a cigarette!"
Cristy: Who's your favorite band no one's every heard of?
David: Sunny Day Real Estate. They're from Seattle. They were uh - and also,
Motley Crue. That's one my favorite bands no one's heard of.
