Comments	Luckily, Martyr AD play metalcore - the good variety. Fuckin' awesome drumming throughout, savage, barked vocals, heavy bass, and inventive, oppressive guitar parts comprise this five-piece's sound, which is just heavy as all hell. The dark and gloomy nature of the lyrics (see above) go hand in hand with the brutality of the music. And to top it all off, the bassist is a girl, which totally kicks ass. Some highlights on the album are the crushing "Bring Out Your Dead", the urgent "The Serpent and the Flower", "Late Night Faith Healer", and "Valley of Solitude", where the maniacal drums truly take center stage.
