A Quickie with Lynam's Jacob Bunton
Cristy: What is your definition of 'happiness'?
- Jacob: A deserted island, duct tape and KY jelly.
Cristy: What is your guilty pleasure?
Jacob: (laughs) What is my guilty pleasure? Bluegrass music.
Cristy: Bluegrass music eh - oh god.
Jacob: (imitating Cristy) "EH, oh God, EWWW!"
Cristy: Eww, eww. Hey, I had to be at NAMM last summer and that was just - bad.
That wasn't good. Who would play you in the movie version of your life?
Jacob: Oh that's a good one. Um, Hold on - oh Brad Pitt!
The happiness question, my idea of happiness, to answer that question
is just being able to do what you love in life.
Cristy: Tell me about your first kiss.
Jacob: Um well... let's see... my first kiss... I never even kissed anybody til
I was 14 years old. I stayed in my room and played guitar til I was fourteen
years old. My first kiss, I thought it was, I didn't know what to expect,
I thought it was gross I guess. I was like "Dad, that's just - that thing
you did with your tongue, that's just weird."
Cristy: Who is your favorite band that no one's heard of?
Jacob: I like Motley Crue.
Cristy: Try again.
Jacob: Favorite band that noone's heard of is a band called Pleasure Club.
Cristy: And where they out of?
Jacob: New Orleans. And I also like a band called DaDa. That's my other favorite
band that not a lot of people heard of. Actually DaDa, everybody's really
heard of them, but nobody remembers. You know who DaDa is?
Cristy: I think so but refresh me so I don't look like an idiot.
Jacob: They had one hit in the early 90's and nobody remembers them but everybody
remembers the song (starts singing and Cristy swoons) "The Disneyland song."
Cristy: Ah - okay.
Jacob: That's them.
