Factoid	Lead singer Maria recently performed with eight other singers of girl-fronted bands for the NY magazine Bitch party. (I digress as I think, 'That's so cool!')

Comments	There isn't too much info on the band on the website though I would check it out as they're playing all over NY now. I wasn't too impressed with their songs. The first track nearly put me to sleep. With the exception of Maria's talent and the third track, "A Far Better Place", I am a bit embarrassed to play Smear-Campaign in my car. I appreciate the dark and disturbed lyrics as much as the next guy but I felt they tried too hard. Smear-Campaign, please release another CD to prove me wrong!
