| Comments | The album begins with the smooth, relaxing voice of Damien, backed by a simple guitar then strings make their entrance and leave soon afterwards. He proceeds to get more passionate and his vocal range extends and really brings you in. The strings really add an element to this music, which would be like any other man with acoustic guitar music without it. Inside the album booklet are different drawings of women. He brings in the beautiful vocals of Lisa Hannigan, to make it more interesting. The only faux pas is the cover of "Silent Night". It's pretty and the lyrical reinterpretation is interesting, but it's out of place. | |
