| Initial Impression | Upon first listen it's clear that this four-song EP is a little ramshackle (nothing wrong with that, of course!), and that overall, it's a valiant effort. | |
| Notable Lyric | "Sleep now in your never-ending woe / In a clouded memory you will always be / Where is my God? / What happened to my dream?" | |
| Factoid | The Last Show formed in June 2001 and are set to start recording their debut full-length in September. | |

| Comments | TLS play thoughtful rock, which is more than evident on the four featured tracks that span the entire gamut from aggressive to ethereal. The absolute crème de la crème, though, is the title track "Sleep," a brooding, pensive, extremely powerful rocker. This song, which is sandwiched between the raucous rock 'n' roll of "painted Blue" and the upbeat, bass-heavy "Big Jet thrust" makes the record. A truly excellent offering; Justin Lizama's vocals give it a bit of a confused, disoriented, disjointed feel, and the mid-song breakdown is great with Lizama's intricate guitar work and the tribal-like drums of Keith Severe. | |
