DOPE - American Apathy

American Apathy has been touted as being the hardest-hitting
Dope record to date. For a new doper who may be taking their first hit
of Dope, the songs on American Apathy are sure to put their
dick in the dirt. For older Dope heads it's likely that they'll find
songs like "No Way Out" (with Dope guitarist Virus laying out some of
his finest work on the fretboard ), sonically euphonic and chronic, like
their red-eyed gardener's hydroponic. Hearing "Dubya's" voice on a
couple of the song intros seems appropriate for the title and theme of
the record, while some songs like "Let's F*ck" and "Sex Machine" stay
true to Dope's brand of "let's party" heavy-libido metal.
On the disc there are bonus tracks with a couple of well done covers
such as Depeche Mode's "People are People" and N.W.A's "F*ck tha
Police."
You can dance and throw horns while you're doing getting down
to songs like an alternate version of "Bitch", so get off your turd
cutter and pick this one up.
