Comments	I'm sitting on an airplane, leaving my sunny "home" of Tampa, destined for the markedly cooler climes of Charlottesville. I'm tired, there's a child screaming a few seats over, and the woman in front of me must be on her first flight (she put her bag under HER seat instead of the seat in front of her - she got a little irritated with me as I tried to jam my bag in it's proper spot thereby causing her to move her bag to its appropriate place). I'm also hungry and feeling a little queasy as I realize that reading liner-notes on a plane has the same effect on me as it would if I were in a car (read: motion sickness). Oh the joy of flying! But thanks to The Kings, I'm able to at least drown out the crying child and the gentleman snoring next to me. I'm lulled by the slightly craggy vocals which lend a punkish style, and my mood is inspired by the "old time" rock and roll jives (yeah I said "jives") eminating through my "ear buds". Jerry Lee Lewis-like tinklings, tough 70s guitar riffs and an over all up beat feeling is what The Kings seem to embrace. And check out the Styx-ish style of "If The Stars Come Out Tonight". This CD definitly helped me through the somewhat turbulant "friendly skies".
