| Comments | Rock radio fodder: On this, the band's debut release, a six-song self-titled EP, Revelation Theory aren't really offering anything original/special with their by-the-book hard-edged yet non-threatening rock (with nu-metal overtones) that should be HUGE, what with its thick sound and big tones, vocals that recall Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland, and music that brings to mind - at various junctures - (good) bands like Tool and (wretched) ones like (shivers) Creed (see the brooding and somber "Fade" for a taste). | |
