The Legendary Hucklebucks -
Rattle All Night Long and Shake You

Hucklebucker Ted Bundy spits the words out of his mouth like hot roofing
nails hitting every target they're intended for. This psychobilly
quartet – The Legendary Hucklebucks – defies their own "down home"-sounding name in favor of good old powerhouse rock 'n' roll. This rock
'n' roll has a dirty face and an arrogant swagger – just like it's
supposed to.
Their debut disc Rattle All Night Long and Shake You on Rock and
Roll Purgatory Records is essential for anyone who likes their rock raw
and powerful.
Obviously woven deeply into the fringes of the retro-roots music scene,
this Pittsburgh, PA quartet takes no prisoners whether they are ham-fisting their way through a house shaker – or chugging along with a
high-octane railroad ditty.
Songs with titles like "Hillbilly Throwdown" and "21 Days in Jail" let
you know exactly what you are in for and The Hucks don't ever let you
down.
They bring the energy in a way that is respectful to the genre, but is
truly their own. Bundy's voice possesses a devilish charm that floats
easily over the rough and tumble landscape courtesy of Matt Schor's
incendiary guitar, Uncle Piddie's ambling doghouse bass, and the machine-gun assault of Brian Gault's drums.
There are a lot of pretenders out there in retro-land chasing the Stray
Cat crown. These guys aren't looking to fit into someone else's leathers
and chains. They are happy crashing and strumming their way into your
record collection on their own terms.
